Early Bird Choir Registration
If you think you would like for your child(ren) to sing in one of FPC's five children's choirs next fall, do yourself a favor, and complete an "early bird" registration form during the month of May. When August rolls around, you'll already have taken care of it and will have marked September 10 on your family calendar as the first rehearsal date of the new choir year. This way, you'll be able to schedule piano and dance lessons as well as team practices on other days!
Children's choirs for 2008-09 are for pre-schoolers who turn four by September 1 up through 6th graders. Rehearsals are held most Wednesdays during the school year in connection with the Wednesday School of Christian Living. The dinner line opens at 5:15 p.m. for choir families. Children are dismissed to choir shortly before 6:00 in order for rehearsals to begin on the hour.
:: Cherubs (pre-schoolers), Kelly Posey, director — 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with childcare available until 7:30 for parents who attend classes. No afternoon session will be offered.
:: Joyful Noise (kindergarten), Susan Kirby, director — 6:00 to 7:15 p.m.
:: Genesis Singers (grade 1), Carolyn Naumann, director — 6:00 to 7:15 p.m.
:: Junior Choristers (grades 2-3), Bekah Caruso, director — 6:00 to 7:15 p.m.
:: Celebration Singers (grades 4-6), Carol McClure, director — 6:00 to 7:15 p.m.
No extended sessions will be offered from 7:00 to 7:30; any children of parents attending classes will stay with assigned directors until 7:30.
Registration forms have been sent to all current choir families with the May choir letter. Click Here to download a Children's Choir Early Bird Registration Form.
