Nashville Flute Choir with Wishing Room
Nashville Flute Choir with featured guests Wishing Room - Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 4:00 p.m.
The Nashville Flute Choir and the FPC Music Ministry invite you to a celebration of Celtic Music with featured guests Wishing Room.
The Flute Choir was chosen out of 200 choirs to play at the National Flute Convention held in Nashville in 2004, was founded in 2001 by director Karen Mitchell. A flute choir is an ensemble made up of all C flutes but most choirs incorporate the piccolo, alto and bass flutes for a beautiful depth in sound.
Wishing Room is a Celtic Band that is composed of three members, a fiddle player, a guitarist and an Irish flute.
For more information about this and other concerts at First Presbyterian Church, contact Daphne Garey (615) 298-9517 or by email at music@fpcnashville.org.
